@linkeffect82 well, splatter action/master was part of the 2000 series, wich were budget PS2 titles, much like sega's Sega ages 2600 colection wich had mostly remakes of genesis games with changed graphics and ports of arcade and saturn games. they were meant to give short fun games for much less than a full game

Interesting little beatemup. A shame it was not longer, which I think one would expect from a ps2 title, and the variety of enemies was okay but not as varied and strong as it could have been. Still a fun little gem, a shame you didn't get the second ending by getting all the gems.

There's a second ending. You must beat the game a second time and get all the hidden gems to get the good ending.

I miss the beat-em-up genre SO FRIGGIN MUCH!! lol I honestly have endless memories of when I was a kid and would stay up for entire nights at a time with my friends just going through wave after wave of baddies all in beat-em-up titles. Streets of Rage trilogy, Final Fight trilogy, Justice Force, Captain Commando on Mame, Punisher on Mame, Simpsons on Mame, Knights of the Round on Mame, TMNT on Mame, TMNT in Time on Mame just to name some of my favorites and the list goes on and on!! lol
