Phil Keaggy - "TIME" (LIVE)

Phil Keaggy playing his song, "TIME" live during the Tacoma, WA stop of his "MASTER & MUSICIAN: 30 YEARS LATER" tour on May 10, 2008. This song features a double guitar "solo" with both Phil Keaggy & his other lead guitarist on the tour, Ric Hordinski. Also in this video are Tom Shinness - singing backup vocals and playing percussion & cello, drummer John Sferra, flutist Melissa Lautenbach (also doing backup vocals), pianist Bryan J. Lautenbach, and bassist Joel Jimenez. As you can see, Phil Keaggy surrounds himself with phenomenal musicians. To me, this spells humility, as he just blends in with his musical surroundings.

I've been to literally hundreds of concerts in my lifetime, and this one, BY FAR was the very BEST one I've been to yet. Phil Keaggy's devotion to JESUS the Christ, as well as to excellence in music is fully portrayed in the quality of music he plays, the joy that he portrays, and the love that he shares, not only with his fellow musicians, but with everyone in the audience as well. Phil Keaggy is the real deal. His music is timeless, his smile infectious, his joy contagious, and his message... crucial!
