My point exactly, Africa will never get itself back together because it is not the problem. Corruption is in every government one way or another and in most governments the people are not important,

but recognise that the monopoly for those products that should produce true wealth for Africa is not in their hands and is forced from them.

So why are Africans allowing these foreigners to 'rape Africa's resources'? We should be strong enough to allow it not to happen. But corrupt govt's will do anything just to pocket money for themselves and let the population starve. Look at Nigeria, lots of oil and the Niger delta region is dirt poor.

I've given up on Africa which is why I left the continent. I'll be back when it gets its act together, if I am still alive.

No doubt there is corruption. Africa is not well resourced actually, many parts of Africa are monopolised. Theres a very good documentary on it but I cant remember the name.

Many leaders are in those positions as pawns and are easily bribed for the right price, but since the pillage of African slave trade, Europe, US and now China have got involved in continually raping africas resources contribtuting to Africas economic situations.

Although its ok, It should be the wealthiest continent.

Poor governance, corruption, lack of indigenous entrepreneurism(in some of the countries) brain drain and unstable societies.

I'm originally Somali so I should know. Dont blame the 'white man' or Africa's problems would never be solved. African dicatators and uneducated societies are to blame. We have so much resources in Africa, yet we are so poor, weak and vulnerable. Africans are not dumb, we just dont have the conditions for success available.
