  • I Did have 650WHP at that time reality is that it was on street tires. If I had slicks on it would be a 10 second truck if not close to it.Also I have heard and spoken once to Allan Phillips. He is very good from what I hear. But my motor was built by PSI Racing in Miami and has a great rep too and since he built my motor it has held up to the power.I have snapped an intake cam and broke 1 Limited Slip. But my Heads and cams are stock.I will be building the heads later for +HP.

  • There are very few XR's that have over 400hp to begin with. The fasted XR that I can compare mine too is the 505hp supercharged RTR from TRD & they ran 12.1 @113mph & didnt spin at all (on slicks) .They also ran a 12.01 .My truck spins 1st & 2nd gear not 3rd Im running bigger rims with the stock gears in diff. Some of the runs in my video were 12.45 et. passes I ran 1 12.1 @114mph. I have my dyno sheet and will post it soon....

  • Looks like a neat project, i have one myself. Don't let your little sister run the video camera at the race track next time.

  • @honda12345678 Yea I spent all my money making it fast & couldnt afford a videographer !

  • I have to call BS. Been around the XR community for a long time, and quite a fan of drag racing. Numbers don't add up at all.

1 of 2 scenarios if the truck was making that much power.

    1. It would spin tire through 3rd gear on street tires (which it didn't), and trap 111.

    2. It wouldn't spin (it didn't), and would be trapping closer to 120+.

It fits neither of those. There are sub 400hp X-Runners trapping near that. extra 250hp should be netting almost an additional 15-20mph.

  • Awlsome video thanks for showing!... im planing to get me a TRD V6 DUAL VVTI TACOMA TWINN TURBO.

  • Why race with those heavy rims ?

  • I have owned a XR for over 4 years. Have probably what will be the most powerful XR to be built to this day. Twin charged S/C-Turbo with a complete built engine. Dyno sheets can be falsified as well as timeslips. But post them anyway. I believe your times. They seem to be legit. But 650HP!!?? No way Jose. What part of the country do ya live? Contact this guy. Allan Phillips This guy can build one hell of an engine. As he has built mine. Balboa

  • @TacomaTwins

The RTR XR BHP is 505 as rated by toyota (5.7L/TRD blower), probably 450whp. Add the extra weight of the motor and larger blower, plus I would imagine the trans weighs more then the standard X-Runner. You are claiming +200rwhp MORE then that truck, but running the about same ET/MPH? Doesn't add up, a 3900lb vehicle with 600hp will be in the 10's (assuming a good launch) trapping +120mph.

1/4 numbers could very well be legit, but you weren't making 650whp...
