  • you need to get a new Gi i think -_- good job though :)

  • "scratching your saya" an astute comment, I agree - this takes a lot of practice, most Gaijin do this cause they hold the iaito too hard and stiff - keep thinking that you cut with it, not chop, and your grip will soften up

  • I learned this in Tokyo in 1983 directly from Danzaki Tomoaki - not a great "version" in this video, but basics re there to share with other "gaijin" iaido practioners - EnshiroDojo just needs to do this 500, 600 more times and it'll be more fluid, Danzaki sensei told me once you have to do a kata 1,000 times to get it right and it should start to feel OK around the 400 or 500 mark - he was right

  • OMG = focus?

  • Which grade is he? Or how long dig he practice?

  • Why all the criticism? The technique looks correct (I do MJER) and is confidently performed. A great deal of hard, patient training has gone into this. There is a LOT worse on YouTube.

By all means give advice, but do not show your ignorance by saying that it should be better. It will be. Iaido is a lifetime of study

  • you should practice more your sayabiki , your iaito is scratching your saya . :)

  • @msalazarx Junto is usually omitted in any embu since the bunkai for junto / kaishakuin is non-combat and rather poignant.

  • @myamoto79 you know nothing about muso shinden ryu! you can´t judge.
