Hopefully this ballad becomes a classic -it will take on many shapes and many colors depending on who undertakes the journey -however the original remains just that -the original. Have any of heard the original recording of "Round About Midnight"? Same thing applies. and It is a classic played over and over again around the world. Monk and Sam remain the originators.
