@lkorthase That storm developed in Livingston county, and was on a Northeast track through Grundy county and then entered Will county. The tornado that hit Richton Park was south of Manhattan Monee rd, and stayed just south of Green Garden. It was nowhere near Mokena, different cell...

So your theory of this storm passing through Mokena and New Lenox is dead wrong. I Know, because I followed it from Wilton Center, through Green Garden and lost it at I-57. I am a certified storm spotter for the National Weather Service, have been for over 10 years. I read your English, where you claim the pictures you took were of the storm that hit Richton Park, and that you could see debris, you are full of shit!!!

@pfriverrat This is the derecho that fed the storm..... I get my info from Tom Skilling and my eyes which I documented with my crappy cell phone.

@prostreeter Okayyyyyy. I never said that I followed the storm. I walked out of Berkot's in Mokena. and I lived in the apartment complex on Mary Lane. just off of Schoolhouse Rd... next to the train tracks at Front St. that last photo in this video. if you had read it.. was taken by my friends husband while HE was on I-57 near Peotone heading North towards Chicago.... unless you cannot read English. ALL of my pic's were take by my crappy phone camera on my way home from Berkot's to my apartment

...and I never said I could see the storm... what are you guys taking??? What I saw is what is on this video except for the last pic. I never said that I was IN Richton Park, if you had read this..... This is the Derecho that was feeding their tornado.... geez people... do you think that Richton Park is in a bubble outside of this world and unless you are standing in Richton Park you cannot see anything??

@TheYankee44 Are you really that retarded?? Tornado's get their strength from the cell that feeds them.... which can span many many miles around in circumference..... why don't you do a bit of research 1st before you act as though you know what you are talking about. Check it out on the National Weather Service Maps for that day and where do you think I was taking those pics from.... Mars??
