  • Unfreakin believable!!! This is one of the most gorgeous performances of Gershwin's concerto. Osawa is a of course a genius, but even more impressive to brought this concept with all the improvised cadenzas by Marcus Roberts. This is both contemporary while keeping faithful to the spontaneity of Gershwin. Bravo!!

  • I bought this DVD. It is amazing, DEFINITELY worth buying!! I thought I loved Gershwin's Concerto in F as played by Earl Wild--conducted by Arthur Fiedler--but this is even more amazing to me.

  • This is just marvelous! Amazing! Thanks for posting and thank God that these fellows were born!

  • 7:25 no gong? :(((

  • and this look 6:44 "omg he is marvellous" i must say that the ORCHESTRA is unbelievable GOOD that everyone understands his improvisations, I played it with orchestra and it was even hard for them to understand me without any impr :) awe-inspiring!

  • Marcus Roberts, who bizarrely struck me as eccentric when I first heard him, proves that I was really STUPID when I first heard him. Roberts has such fantastic technique and imagination--he is simply marvellous here. Bravo. 'Nuff said.

  • Simply one one of the best jazz interps of Gershwin I've ever seen. Cheers!

  • Marcus Roberts - DAMN! OMG! WTF! and anything else that hasn't come to mind yet!

  • @woodlawn4623

What an accomplishment for a school pianist who can see! It is amazing by any standard.
