@MrMistermastermax Disagree. they went from angry teens writing about the problems of the world to grown men who accept the world for what it is and are trying their best to get by. Think of groups like the Beatles and others. They all went through fairly major transformations in their careers and still made good music. Just because Incubus switched styles up a bit in the post 2000 era doesnt mean they s*** on their fans. They did whats best for them. That includes getting away from drugs.

I don't know about you guys but I don't want the same recycled sound on every album. They've brought something fresh and new with every release and that's what I love. Always evolving, always moving forward.

Regardless of what Incubus comes out with, people who love music and understand music will fall in love with Incubus (new or old) because Incubus understands it. Rythm, style, notes, ect. Simply put: Rather you get it or you dont. Incubus is a group of musicians and artist who perform how it should be: from the heart. That's what makes these guys a band that is truly admirable and a inspiration!

@thebigl032 What you just said sir, is pretty much the gist of what an old guy said to me, when I walked into his house with intention to shag his daughter, but ended up listening to hours of old blues vinyls with him instead. The best thing I learned from him is that there's a difference between music that is popular, and music that is ahead of it's time but never made it - popular music is just on time, the music that never made it will be popular when everyone is dead.

I find it funny that people don't think they have the same spark they did from the first albums or any other albums. Close your eyes at 3:44. What you see is the awesome euphoric effect of Incubus. Is there a difference? really?

@buccofan27 actually, if you watch one of their interviews.. you'll find out tht they did reeaally change a whole lot, they just said tht when they write songs they write what they think of, right then and there.. and Brandon said tht they will probable make more songs like they did b4.. but this album came out slow.. they are still very unique:)
