You need to be careful when you go to the MP3 Skype Recorder page, they advertise others that require you to pay. Also, make sure that it links with your Skype and you may have to play with the mic settings in Skype. I have been using it for my website/podcast for over a year now and it works pretty well.

the record thing doesn't come up whenever i call someone so it never records... any help?

This program records but after I go into my files to play it, the mp3 is worth 0kb and ALL of my music and editing software tells me the file is an unsupported format. I've updated all my programs, the recorder and the computer, checked my Anti-Virus, Firewalls, EVERYTHING. But it's very hit and miss, someday's it'll record some days it'll give me 0kb files and it sucks when you wanna record for a class or podcast.
I know it's free but I can't recommend this program.
