  • Actually Adam not winning was probably the best thing for him. (although I think he should have won as well) He got all the recognition he needed but not winning allowed him to be able to do his own thing after words. He was not under contract with A.I. for that year (or however long it is)

He was able to control his own album and recording and tour. I'm sure he is not upset about not winning the title. Not for one second!! A.I. gave him the stepping stone he needed!

  • Oh there is no doubt he was the most talented person on that show that year. Chris Allen only won because he got the little girl vote, and middle America as well. I bet a lot didn't vote for him because he was gay, just like Clay Aiken. It was/is a freaking popularity contest!

  • @skipper8257 adam loved his music and his makeup, so you have no right to call it bullshit.....he was pretty right to make the move, because he would have never been as well-known as he is now without the uniqueness. and many people love it.

  • Love him

  • He has such an voice and looks but I didn't need to see the crap he engaged in on his first shot at world wide recongnition. He would have soared if he would have presented himself without all the bullshit.

  • woow im gonna make this video as ma fave vid of all time

  • 10 people dont know what music is

  • i cant stop watching this everyday

  • @wendy2297 you are bound by contract as soon as you are on american idol. but it'snot as "bad" as the A.I contract at the end.

  • Yvonne Elliman, not Donna Summer. The song was part of the sountrack for Saturday Night Fever.

  • For the record, this song wasn't made popular by DOnna Summer, it was by Yvonne Elliman, who was a backup singer for Clapton before this song. The only other version that anyone knew about was the Bee Gees version.
