  • its really beautiful and the birds tweeting make it sound so peaceful

  • @FinalTrap Thanks for watching! This part of town is really beautiful, even though most of Manhattan has plenty to see and enjoy. Hope you're having a great holiday!

  • If you want to see a beautiful Brownstone and the inside, get the movie Kiss me goodbye, it's an older movie with Sally Field in it.. This movie was totally filmed inside the Brownstone and it looks very much like those white Brownstones you are filming in this video.

  • @Squirralbait Thanks for the tip!!! I can't wait to see it.

  • They say many who own these brownstones actually hate them. They are so tired of vertical living, climbing up and down stairs, forgetting something on the 4th floor and have to climb stairs again.

  • @Squirralbait Good point. It's good exercise, but then there are so many rooms and different levels to keep track of. One advantage: privacy. It's nice to have different floors to separate different activities, like sleeping, eating, studying, working. There are also some beautiful woodwork, windows, and details in many of these townhomes. Thanks for watching!

  • taxes are high--probably 25,000-30,000 /year

  • I really hope you do rent the movie and you will be able to see all the levels of the Brownstone. It is a much older movie and it also has James Caan and Jeff Bridges in it. It is a delightful comedy in my opinion and just because it was filmed mostly in that Brownstone, it has become one of my favorite movies.

  • how much would a townhouse like this run?

do any of them have garages? looks like every car on the street was an inch away lol

  • Good question! I'm not sure since I rent in the City. Maybe someone else can help with the answer . . . .
