This piece is a short poem sprung from a photographic memory with reference to a melody, inspired by the grand old theaters of Detroit. The city of Detroit beholds a wealth of American history, both present and past, and presents an opportunity for all to take an emotive walk down memory lane. Sound accompaniment features the original Detroit Hucklebuck by Paul Williams and his Hucklebuckers (the song of 1949!).
