  • Wow. Auto 240s are that terribly slow? Many moons ago, I had a 91 SE. I could hit 105 from a standstill faster than that...and that includes starting it and pulling out of the garage.

  • Mine in this was quite slow compaired to others, I recently found out when I installed my Emanage that my throttle possition sensor was out, so it was running on "idle" mixture... LOT quicker now but you have to think, its roughly 800 pounds heavier than a hatch.. and the auto trannies do take a LOT away from the motor, I'll post a truer show of the 240 soon

  • isent it automatic?

  • yea... Thats why i said a stock 240 'vert... All 240sx 'verts were automatic tranny's, so it has a "final drive" its the daily driver...

  • actually only the '94 came in auto only

  • Cool. I was kinda just rippin ya :) I loved my 240. Had what I was told was pretty rare: 91' SE hatch with super-hicas 4ws. The guy I bought it from had the original window sticker: the damn thing was like $25K back then!!! Had a couple bolt on mods and a racing clutch. Sadly, I totalled it 5 or 6 years ago :(
