My mother is from Cartagena, Colombia and I've been raised with her customs despite growing up in NYC. I love Cartagena so much and I use to go every summer as a child but stopped during my later teen years. People from the coast of Colombia speak with a different accent then those from the rest of the country. Our food, music, mannerism etc are also drastically different.
