  • I really don't understand your negativity. These running board lights are aimed perfectly....slightly up. They are not for cats, they are for side warning to provide protection during a blocking situation. Now that the NFPA has mandated chevrons on the rear of apparatus, do you think that is overkill? Why are you against safety?

  • I agree that the TIR3 are not that great off axis..which is why I said they were aimed slightly up. From 15 feet away and further back they are blinding. There are also lights higher up over the wheels. Door handle level, just like you suggest.
