Cannabis can be used for fuel, clothing, medicine and many of our other needs. I don't understand, we have this huge natural recourse and huge industry for almost everything we use today and our government is stopping us from tapping into this.

If it were a matter of simply his own ambitions he would not be running now. Common sense would dictate that running in the next election or the one after that would be safer for his career and his livelihood.
America is at a turning point. Either it starts doing things right now or it will be almost impossible to recover to its former stature and prosperity.
If you are a US citizen, vote for him. America needs him as president, he wants the presidency. Let the guards worry about safety.
