This video short (2 minute duration) was created by Polaris and Ash at Wupatki National Monument in northern Arizona. Polaris demonstrates how this unusual nature feature was thought by the Hopi and Anasazi Indians as being the breath of earth gods inhaling and exhaling through a rift in the earth.
