ho come on... This is 3d emulation with probably using only one of the 9 microprocessor... 3,2ghz is not enough even on pcs for such a thing without having access to the graphic card...

only the first bloody roar was good the rest were crap and if you so whant to play them just buy em instead download classsics like killer instinct or the mk games and the sf ones

this is mainly due to it running on linux. See if its run on yellowdog linux on ps3. The ps3 prevents it from using full graphics capacity.

In linux you have access to everything but the graphics card. Another problem is that linux has not been actively developed on the powerpc platform for several years. The Cell is based on the powerpc. Since the linux kernel is not developed for this platform all of that power that the cell has is not used. Basicly linux on the ps3 is slower than on an average pc.

What are you talking about? That is the most PS3 fanboy shit I've heard in a long time. I have a PS3 and Killzone, and let me tell ya, it ain't nothing to write home about, or prove any theoretical power the PS3 is supposed to have. Killzone gameplay model are obviously down graded from those of the cutscene. Jesus... all this fanboy shit is just stupid.

I'm not sure, but I think with the release of Killzone 2 the PS3 has proven it is capable of rendering some pretty good graphics. There are way more effects going on than any 360 game I've ever seen, models and architecture are ridiculous, and it runs perfectly smooth. The only thing out now that compares is Crysis, but that requires a $2,000 pc to play it looking as nice as Killzone 2.

Ps3 has lots of theoretical power which doesnt mean anything in the real world. The cell really hasnt proven itself in terms of gaming. An intel Quad core is far more powerful than the cell.

As for the MAME it emulates everything in software, so CPU power is the only thing that matters. No need for PS3 RSX performance at all.

It's because it's a 3D game, and Linux on the PS3 does not allow access to the 3D graphics chipset.
