This is some footage from a quick platformer I made one night with a friend. We had a 5x5 tile level in the game, but noticed that when we moved outside of our specified map, there was collision. So after editing the code to render the entire screen, not just our map, we noticed something very odd.
Here you see that when I move the character, the level changes. Maybe it was the memory used by the character structure xD

  • I noticed this same type of thing in a platformer that I'm working on. I walked outside of the bounds of my level and there was a collision. I didn't bother trying to render it though. This is pretty funny.

  • @Taking1n1 If you had read the title you would have known.

  • @AutomatonGames it's randomly generated?

  • @Taking1n1 Dude, hes not testing a crappy level, its a randomly generated code. Its pretty cool, it needs work, but it was randomly generated. Seriously, make better.

  • @AutomatonGames ok: Blue bald guy without hands or feet in a strange, obscure world with a not-so-cool background with glitchy ground and an autistic ability in jumping. (no offence)

  • @Taking1n1 Make better

  • it looks like a game called "Blue bald guy in pajamas in glitchy world where things disappear".

  • the fuck is that? mabye u shouldnt fuck about with little white guys and make TANKS :P

  • that's fucking awesome LOL
