Harris Hill Road, Clockwise (a few good laps)

On-car video from a 2007 GT3 RS driving Harris Hill Road clockwise. Red Run group during a Driver's Edge HPDE on Sunday, 24-Jan-2010, third session of the day. Video includes a few clean laps and then cuts to a game of leap frog with a Z06. Had a great day! Thanks to all the folks at http://www.thedriversedge.net/ and http://harrishillroad.com/ !

None of that goofy m5board, rolling start, straight line, snore fest drag junk here. I may not be the fastest driver out there, but at least I know what to do when I see a curve.

Sorry about the wind noise. I won't be able to get clean audio until I work out a third camera for the interior. Equipment is two VholdR ContourHD cameras edited together in Final Cut Pro.

I was randomly surfing H2R videos for the upcomming events and I spied your vid from TDE 2010 at H2R. Great vid and thats me in the black Z06. Its wierd I remember that run, playing with an RS and probably have some footage of it too. The yellow S2k and black M coupe were also people I knew in the red run group. Small world! Do you still go out there?

First impression:

1. Your line before the 'vette passed you was better.

2. Your intent to learn his line? Good thing you didn't. OTOH, his being in front apparently distracted, since in multiple turns he turned in late, slowing too much, it appeared that you were watching his entry, knew it was wrong and so over-adjusted yours into a too early entry.

Has anybody figured out the fast way through T5? Is there one? That turn really pisses me off.
