The Workshop Stage at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival 2008 20th Anniversary - July 25th - 5:00 - 6:30pm

http://www.falconridgefolk.com/

There was great damage due to the mini-tornado that hit on the final day of Falcon Ridge. If you feel so inclined they are taking donations at their website. I personally watched three of the big tents partially colapse (thank the heavens no one was injured) and I would imagine sound equipment was lost at the Main Stage. The 70 mph wind was ripping off all the tarps covering it,
not to mention the quarter to golf ball sized hail damage.

If you like the music please visit websites and find out more about these talented folks!

Many thanks to the over 800 volunteers that helped bring this festival together, The Falcon Ridge

House Band and the interpreters with their magic storytelling hands.

See you all next year, I hope!

  • Thank you thank you thank you for posting this!!! I missed FRFF this year with the birth of my new son, so this is a real treat for me. The Falcon Ridge message board thanks you as well!!!

  • Congratulations on the birth of your son! I guess that's a pretty good excuse for missing FRFF! LOL My husband, TimberGeek, has some vids up as well. This was our first year to camp, but we have gone for many years. I love the FR message board!

  • Oh, I loved the Beatles!!! They did a great job! Looks like fun! A mini Woodstock.. LOL

  • Most of the festival is wonderful, original folk music. This was an 80 minute tribute to the Beatles and a treat for me because I'm a huge Beatles fan. It is like a mini Woodstock and this year, the 20th Anniversary was moreso with all the mud!

  • Hey, not bad in the crescendo department! :)

  • It was a fun tribute. Wish I didn't have to post it in 8 parts though.

  • Congratulations!!! Falcon Ridge was great as ever!!! I missed Sunday (yay) bu Friday and Saturday were great. Lots of great new artists, and some of everybodys old favorites. Nerissa Nields was very pregnant, it looks like shell be joining you in the new parent group!

  • Oh very interesting to see someone signing with the singing

  • This is the 4 day festival that we went to that pushed me into dehydration. We camped all 4 days, it was fun, except for the getting sick part! :-)

  • Cool, there are a lot of deaf folks and many people in wheel chairs. I don't know how they managed because it was SO muddy, but they perservered! I loved watching the signers.
