Riu Emerald Bay - Mazatlan Mexico

The Riu Emerald Bay Resort in Mazatlan Mexico - An all inclusive resort 35 minute drive from the airport and minutes away from the Golden Zone of Mazatlan. Local bus stops directly in front of the hotel and costs 9 pesos to get downtown which is under a dollar. Good beach for walking, hard packed sand, at the edge softer further away from the water. Surfing and boogey boarding popular here on Playa Bruja just 5 minutes up the beach from the hotel. Every room in this hotel has an oceanview and you get to see some incredible sunsets. All in all a good resort and plenty to do outside of the resort.

Update: With regards to the Canadian women being beaten at the resort, the Mexican police have arrested a man. He was spotted on the surveillence cameras and he confessed.

A Canadian women was recently beaten into a coma in this hotel and Riu has done nothing about it.  Fuck the cowards who did this and fuck the Riu for not protecting their guests.

admito q la promira vez q fui m impresiono pero hace 2 semas q fui dejomucho q desear,era temporada de lluvias y el agua se les met x todas partes,aun metro d mi habitacion habia tremenda gotera y se inundo hasta mi cuarto,los empleados solo ponen tullas parece un tendedero,admeas de q las recamareras entran sin pedir permiso,el estacionamiento se les inundo,y nos cambiaron como 3 veces de habitacion aun sin habernola entregado a pero el plus de la recepcionista es dejarte el brasalete hasta 3

nuestra estanciA FUE FABULOSA GRACIAS..RIU saben hacerlo muy bien todo de primera alimentos, intslaciones, servicio, mi estancia fue del 4 9 de julio estupendo lo recomiendo ampliamente!!!
