How can I connect the focusrite twintrak pro to a mbox2. I think I need something added to it. I dont get it why they made it this way. You buy this product but then you cant use it. First you cant connect to directly to the computer because it doesnt have usb port but then you still cant connect it to the interface. I really need some advice on how to use this pre amp. Right now its only useful for live performance but what for when playing live there are alots of epuipment that can do its job.
@TheMasterAchim they use exactly the same preamps across the platinum range. If you need more controls and a single channel, go for the voicemaster. if you need stereo processing or just want 2 independant pres, go for the twintrak.
Do these pres sound better than the ones in the RME fireface 800? I see you have given stellar reviews for both. I am considering the RME and am a newbie. I'll be looking to do high fidelity acoustic guitar recording (condensers & a di). Thanks.
Great rewiew Dave. TwinTracks is indeed a great piece of equipment. Focusrite's only cut out highclass equipment. I own RED1 and TrakMaster Pro and i am extremely satisfied.
DO YOU HAVE ANY DEMOS YOU VE RECORDED WITH IT?

Hey
Thanks for the introduction.
How woud you compare the Focusrite Voicemaster Pro to the Focusrite Twin tracks?
Actually I nee 2 preamps, thinking about the twin tracks. But is the Preamsound as good as the voicemaster preamp sound?
Thanks
Achim
