  • without the blades it looks like a portable siren.

  • Kinda, yeah.

  • What kind of motor is used inside these?

  • A stacker motor. Think of the Emerson K55 stacker. Only this one is made by Fasco. I guess I should have removed the motor housing and made a video of the motor its self. I'll do that sometime this week.

  • My primary school in the late 70s had these ceiling fans in it, I have never forgotten them.
