Adam Young has a lot of potential. But the only way I'll truly respect him is if he stops trying to emulate Ben Gibbard in his vocals. I don't mind his music, but Young's vocals are a bit too much. I listen to Death Cab and TPS daily, and Young's voice really can't pull it off. I really wish everyone in the world who ever listened to Owl City gets a chance to hear TPS. I'm not going to dictate what their favorite should be, but I think everyone needs to at least listen to TPS once. :D

@Swiftlygothedays I listen to both TPS and OC. I knew about TPS b4 OC. I Love OC more tho as i only like some of TPS's songs. They are both good tho <3

It was about 5 years ago I had to study it and stuff but that slide really rang some bells.

i dont get why people are trying to pit owl city and PS against each other. they are my 2 favorite bands and if i had to choose one, i would be crushed. They are both real good, and they are similiar, but there are also differences. and its not a complete fact that PS is "obviously - clearly - or certainly" better. its all opinion, and frankly, no one asked for your peoples opinions. just listen to your music and stfu.

laaaaaaaaaame. In breaking away from any crowd you join another. It may be true that you conform to the social norms of the nonconformist. Anyway, the best thing you can do is be original without caring a shit about conforming or nonconforming.
