Why fight abortion? The problem needs to be fought at the source. We need better sex education in the United States. Education is the answer. Don't wait until someone is already pregnant and struggling with the life altering decision of whether to have a baby or not. Educate people properly, and we won't even need abortion anymore (except in those medically necessary cases of course). Your time is better spent teaching, not forcing guilt onto people.

@platinumpilar Many ministries do offer money and assistance post birth. Besides that's not the point, the point is babies are saved, people are saved from a senseless murder!

Do you know what these women go through after they've had their babies ripped and sucked from their wombs? It's often something that plagues and haunts them for the rest of their lives.

I've had a D&C due to a missed miscarriage, and I can tell you that even though in my case it was medically necessary, it still haunts me. You walk in pregnant, with this life inside of you, and you're expected to leave empty and move on with life.

Abortion is promoted by the millions earned by abortion providers and by those who hate men. What a sick combination that drives abortion: money and hate. Feminists of old knew that abortion was murder and now you never hear feminists say this. Ask yourself why have they abandoned this treasured concept of the value of women and children? The answer: money and hate.

@03nataflea i believe you're right; homicide is a leading cause of death for pregnant WOMEN. in fact, women in abusive relationships are at the highest risk of being killed by their partner while pregnant. seems like you inadvertantly made an argument FOR abortion. good on you!

@xblackstock i'm very sorry to hear of your troubles. one reason it is important to make abortion legal and available is it decreases the number of unsafe abortions (banning abortion doesn't decrease the absolute number of abortions). it also allows for proper counseling before and after the abortion. physical (and mental) problems are shockingly rare when abortion is made legal, available, and safe. studies show the number one feeling women have after ending an unwanted pregnancy is relief.
