Indie video about a mysterious man who bowls a near perfect game, sealing the fate of those who watch.
Riding in on his 30+ year old sport bike, Ace just wants to bowl a peaceful game. However, there's always onlookers with attitude. This time is no different.
Strike after strike, Ace just bowls, unconcerned about anyone until an attractive waitress shows up. In Ace's eyes though he can only see Celestina.
A beer on order, a waitress that notices his Mighy Mouse watch and "gang" of cool kids that could care less about the person, they just want to see more strikes.
An inquisitive kid that has no idea the danger he's entertaining when he tries to strike up a conversation with Ace.
A few frames to go until the perfect game. But Ace doesn't want perfect, he never did. Something inside him gnaws away as it has for decades.
Time to go and time for the darkness to descend.
Lucky Strike.
@JMilesTV Jay! Thanks for the comment! I'm using AVID Studio (may be called Studio Pro now). It came with Red Giant's Magic Bullet plugins. There are dozens of coloring FX available to choose from, all I needed to do was apply the coloring FX and viola! We shot with the new Sony Nex VG 10 and used a lens that had a shallow DoF. The bowling alley had great dark colors and I want for a color noir look which I think we achieved. I'm working on the feature length script of this.

wow! You have totally reached another level! How did you get the "look" for this film? I really dig the heavy blacks and muted oranges. Great shots, audio, pace and style! Excellent job!
