  • is this method approve by roof manufactors???????? if so where can I find it

  • We are reccomended by Tamko and GAF for warranty work on stain gaurd shingles.

We had to submit our process to them for approval.

  • @MrThekid81

Bleach, Bleach ,Bleach all you do is Bleach.

Bleach oxidizes hence the name bleach.

Say it man, I clean with household bleach and jab my customers., Every time the algae returns I use more bleach. I have killed plants lots of plants.

I pay big bucks for guys smarter than me to tell me what to think and do. Smarter cause they got money and I don't yet. I want to be like them. They like Me

    Close right?.

Sounds like a A George Staight song, something about ocean front property

  • @MrThekid81 And where is written that 12.5% bleach is the accepted proceedure and who acknowledges that peice of paper you boast. What State or Local government body?

Oh yea it's reconignized by a website with no phone number like ARMA.

    Shall I post the links?

  • Ok...you know what I know...there are basically ONLY two ways to do this job; 1) pressure (which ruins the shingle) or chemicals (which ruins other things like plants). I have yet to find a COMPLETELY safe chem...they are all a sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite base, or other caustic chem. So what is it that you know that we don't. By the way...I run my LLC hundreds of miles away from you - New England - so there's no competition....

  • I feel bleach has more negatives. In our hot climate it makes the shingles more brittle and they loose gravel. You need more poeple...The main thing is not to wash it more than once. We use a preventative every 30 to 36 months to keep them clean.

  • Actually it has been proven 100% that bleach solutions do NOT make shingles brittle or lose gravel. However even a garden hose WILL remove granules. We are also recommended by Tamko and GAF and do work regularly for them. Also only 2 people are needed with our system which is required by Osha regulation anyways. With that being said, you guys do great work and I hope we can colaborate on some projects in the future.

  • @texasroof is this approved by shingle manufators

  • s this method approved by shingle manufacturs
