After the hurricane Gudrun, that hit southern Sweden 8-9 Jan. 2005, has appx. 1000000m3 timber been stored at Byholma.

  • @unholymudvayne yes thats right. It was the storm Gudrun in 2005 the wiped out 75million kubikmeters of wood in sweden. Sweden is a fairly large country in Europe mostly covered with forests. Sweden has a total of 3 billion kubikmeters of wood in the whole country. So it was a relatively large part of our forests that were wiped out.

  • If I am told correctly, there was a great storm that wiped out a lot of forest in that area. These stockpiles are the result.

  • A termite family has just moved into the area. The father tells the mother, " Good news! I just found an 'all you can eat' buffet in town we can take the kids to" Ha ha! Thats a lot of wood.
