Yay, Maria gives birth to her little boy Dimitri! x3

Yes - just like Robyn's baby girl Holly Jay - that random name has significance. Dimitri is short for Demetrius. Demetrius means "follower of Demeter." In Greek mythology, Demeter was the goddess of fertility and the harvest. Therefore, Demetrius REALLY means... "follower of the Harvest Goddess"! xD I've been planning to use that name forever!

Wow, Martha actually told us what the "eyes are like" this time. xD The line is partly missing in the girl version of this scene. Now the statement about the father has poor grammar, but at least it's there!

MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS:
~8-10 hearts with your loved one
~your MAIN house upgraded to Level 3 (befriend Joe, Kurt, or Woody to at least one heart to make the "Remodel" option available for your FIRST house)
~Double bed (unlocked under "Furniture" at the Workshop after the Level 3 upgrade; several styles marked with an "L" for Large)
~If you're trying to marry Jamie, however, it's a quite different and much more difficult story. Please see the Jamie wedding video for those prerequisites. ^^

20 days after marriage, pregnancy will be announced. Two seasons (actually about 59 days) later, the baby will be born.

Do note that the baby has no gender (Damian's baby is male only because I say so) and NEVER grows up past toddling stage.


This baby's birth actually happened to fall on my own birthday! (Main player character Amandi's in-game birthday, that is.) Spring 24. Aww, I'm honored to share a b-day with this cute little guy. =3

That's right. Although their clothes are always blue, these children never grow up past toddler stage to be distinguishable in appearance, and they are never referred to as either "he" or "she."

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure she just has to stay in the 8-10 heart range, meaning keep her at marriage-love level. If it's still within the same month you got married, you can check your calendar to see your wedding (anniversary) date... It SHOULD only take twenty days. o.O
