@thewhiteone102 if you're referring to the euphoniums, one of the standard configurations of a 4 valve instrument is to put the 4th valve on the side, operated by the other hand. The 4th valve is "not required," but allows the player greater pitch accuracy, and the ability to access a few of the pedal tones that would otherwise be out of reach.

Anyone know what kind of microphones they use on teh instruments.. sound crisp clean...of course not to mention the "golden" sounds of the Brassmen themselves.

Beautiful! Reminds me of some of the pieces on the European Tuba Trio's CD 'Jeudi 26' which I ordered from a Portugese website. Wish I knew where to get sheet music from - for 'The Sass Philosophy' and the pieces on 'Jeudi 26'!
