I actually just looked up Menace on youtube. Turns out it actually is a space ship shooter. Not to mention, this particular level is based off of level 3 of that game, the level is called Carnage Rift. The game looks rather fun actually.

Builders might be in there in case you go too far down to climb out of the bomb crater... though that would be damn tough to pull off without blowing a hole through to the negative space off screen that would kill all of the Lemmings.

I played Lemmings as a kid I think, but I don't think I ever got very far. I should give it another try some time.

The thing I like about Lemmings is that there are many different ways of completing the same levels, it's fun to re-do some levels in weird ways every now and then, it feels like a new level and it's a really good challenge, haha. :)

Actually, "MENACING!" and the special levels were still included in the console version, or at least the SNES version, unchanged and all. The only things that got changed from the computer versions to consoles (again, at least for the SNES version and from what I've noticed) was the "666" level which turned the 6s into Japanese symbols (or whatever origin the symbols came from), and the levels that had "HEAVEN" changed to "PARADISE."
