Bowhunting deer in Ohio may be my favorite obsession. Here's a look at one of my favorite hunts ever with my brother. It's the first time he ever ran a camera and I think he did a heck of a job. Especially since he's never killed a deer this big.

Did the first shot have a lighted nock on it? If so why did it fail? Nice shot though.

@nin29nin watch it again. I am shooting Lumenocks... The nock is lit perfect as it goes through the animal, it is just the camera angle, the deer was too close, only 3 or 4 yards from the base of the tree. the camera was zoomed in, i was on one side of the tree, the camera was on the other. so you only get to see it for about a foot before it goes into the deer

good shot, but you should have shown the deer after you shot it... what bow where you using... I have bear truth 2 with a rip cord and a tru glow sight... I missed a giant buck at my ranch I didn't think he was going to show up I accutually wanted to try and take a hog... but he showed up... by the way what arrows are you using

thats some good stuff man, and as for the ass shot you can clearly see at that angle and with the penatartion ( sorry about the shity spelling ha) it was a good shot idea i dont see anything wrong with it but personaly i probably woulda put it just a hair front but it was a nast quartering away angle
