Your record is a bit warped?
-
You know i just realized the video is totally ancillary. It's a song.

"Who turned on the spin cycle?"

@vwest1ife so it would work on mine then, I will have to remember that. Thanks for your time.

You should buy more records and upload them. I just love hearing full albums on vinyl. Too bad mine doesn't work anymore. I haven't heard Sgt Pepper in a LONG time!! :(

This song was the first record I ever bought. The 45 rpm single... I had to mow lawns for several weekends to get enough money to buy the whole album... Which I recently found in a closet. The jacket is long gone, and it's so scratched it probably won't play well. Thinking about getting a turntable and testing it out.

One word "Nice"

And BTW, the label had some writing on both sides, strange! But someone wrote it on a red magic marker written "JAR" on side 1, "Jon An Rehier" on side 2. Lots of writing and the label was not perfect for some dumb unknown reason.

I have the LP, because I got this at a barn sale for a buck. But it's missing the cover and the record is not in the best shape, but it has some minor scratches. Great to play this record, but I love to play it on my 1975 GE Wildcat. As for the 25th Anniversary picture disc, I don't have it, but I got the original 1982 LP. Classic!

I have the entire soundtrack from the video game complete with all of the DJ chatter. thats not found on the 7 CD set I dont think. I made mine from my copy of Vice city on PS2.

This was one of the very first tunes I've heard on a CD. That was back in the day when CD's were starting to appear in stores and were considered superior to vinyl records. I didn't have my first CD player until about a year later. Those were the days.

nice to hear some michael jackson on vinyl
Just wondering I have a sounDesign system that has the receiver/radio/cassetter decks in one. The receiver does have hook ups for a Vinyl player. My question is what type of vinyl players could I use on it. I noticed the one that came with it, which does not work the power comes from the back of the receiver through like a 12V plug someone would use for a game system or to charge a phone/camera. Does that mean it can't use players with magnetic carts?what systems do not use magnetic carts. Thanks

@ATARI800XLfan A Soundesign stereo is almost guaranteed to only have inputs for a ceramic cartridge turntable, which is really just a regular line level aux input. To use it with a "real" turntable with a magnetic cartridge, you'd need a separate phono preamp, or a turntable with a built-in preamp.

@vwest1ife so basically only soundesign turntables will work with my set up. How hard is it to find a turntable with a built-in preamp. are there any ceramic cartridge turntable's that are decent. I found a SounDesign 958P turntable. I am pretty sure those are also ceramic but not sure, what do you think. Thanks for your time.

@ATARI800XLfan The turntable I have used for most of my videos is the Pioneer PL-990 and it has a built-in pre-amp.

It takes a while for YouTube to fully process HD videos. These Michael Jackson videos were all recorded using the external stereo microphone input of my new Kodak Zi8 pocket video camera.
