How VTEC works

Kid. you must be high. Vtec is basically just shit, until it goes to high rpm's. then its a normal corolla.

what the hell are you talking about vtec is the greatest thing Honda could have ever made it gives you a shit load of power at low rpm and then when you need a little extra the vtec kicks in and opens the intake valves longer for incredible torque and speed i really don't know why you don't like them there pretty good for a factory car thats an inline four thats not bad at all there vtec tecnology is awesome!

They give no power at all. Having 2 valves per cylinder is absolute MINIMAL for any car. A CAROLLA RUNS 4 PER CYL. Please learn the basics of an engine. Valves are used to 1. Inject fuel air mix. 2. Release burnt up fuel air. The more valves the easier it is for the engine to breathe. So by simply adding 2 more valves to a cylinder at high RPM's simply MAKES IT drive like a standard ricer vehicle. VTEC was created for fuel economy.

Another thing... By opening intake valves longer, which it does not do, means letting lowering rpm... Goddammit kid. Get a car.

you think i know it was designed for fuel economy but when you need a little power the vtec helps alot and wow you thought me something i didnt know cars had two valves..HOW FUCKING STUPID DO YOU THINK IAM duh they have two jesus christ whats your problem all i said is that i like vtecs get off my ass now you try to tell me shit i already know im not stupid i was trying to be nice about this but your pissing me off and for you info i have a 89 foxbody stang that has 550hp so get off my back!!!

vtec sucks they just made it and called it a fancy name cuz they cant compete with the power of a nissan engine nd they still cant
