AON Center - 2009

A tribute about the 2nd tallest building in Chicago after the Sears Tower. This is the sister tower of the World Trade Center in New York. Move the Freedom Tower to Burj Dubai, and rebuilt the Twin Towers. What should you do if you lost your dog? Buy a other one, or buy the new dog which has the same colors like your old dog?

It looks soooo tall! Especially at :24. If I'm correct, it's over 1,000 ft. high.

Do you know how high 1,000 feet is?! The Freedom Tower in New York is 530 meters high, that is 1,776 feet long (with antenna). The AON Center is 380 meters.

@Abricialio I checked, it's 1,136 ft. tall. Meters are confusing, they can throw you off like that. Although, they are more correct than our system of measurements here in America. Ours is based off of whatever, while the Metric System is based off of 100.

Sorry but we don't have in The Netherlands things with feet, we call it in meters in my country. Anyways, if they don't rebuild the Twin Towers, they should make another AON Center tower.

just so u kno, trump tower is taller that the aoen center, although not to the roof but either way trump tower is officialy taller.

The Aon Center comes like a comfort now that the twin towers are gone. Although it is different from the WTC towers, it still looks a lot like one of them, and I love it for it. Besides, it derives from the same architectural period. A great consolation knowing that the world still has buildings like that (together with the Aon Center in LA). I consider this building a part of the world architectural heritage from our time, just like the pyramids from the ancient times.

I wonder why I thought it looked like the World Trade Center... it doesn't look anything like the Twin Towers, there are BIG differences.

But it's a kewl building still, except the fact it doesn't have a cafe, or bar, or hotel, or restaurant, but it just doesn't look anything like the Twin Towers.

My aunt used to work there.

this building looks like the World Trade Center, it's kinda chilling when you think of it actually that (when i was at the aon center) it was creepy because the building it looks like is gone forever and it left leaving a hole in america.
