Europeans, this has little to do with America, please don't think poorly of us. This is a manifestation of the culturally useless space between between the Northeast and the West Coast - flyover country populated by purposeless lives that eat at Olive Garden, go to church and watch Two and Half Men. Flyover-people zealously marry themselves to simple ideals (like the ones in this vid) to inject meaning into their inconsequential lives. In the relevant parts of the country, we laugh at this too.
