never had a problem with south west trains myself and i use them 4 times a week. some people in this country just love to moan.

If she thinks she's got it bad she should try pretty much any other Train Operating Company- South West Trains by comparison are pretty damn fine.

It's all very well to promote your pet theory on transport, but this video shows the Lib Dem's making a real difference by pressuring an incompetent government to provide a better service for local people.

Transport is important. Trains pass 50m from my house, but the nearest station is 10km away. If I drive to the station the return fare to London is the same as I paid for the car. So I drive to London. WHat a crazy system. It should be renationalised or at least properly integrated.

The privatised railway system is a shambles. The taxpayer will pay to improve the infrastructure and the train companies will make more profit on top of their large subsidies. I live on the cotswold line which is run by last worst western and they are hopeless. We should kick them all out and return the railways to state ownership. Then when their is problems we know which minister to blame.
