$6 donated for every thousand banner ads shown at the bottom of the screen. This is a lot, because in those countries, the value of money is much greater. People are living off of $2 a day, and you can get a loaf of bread for like 20 cents. That would be about 7 questions, or 70 grains of rice, but I don't think that's very accurate. You're donating a lot more than it claims you are.
