To have an idea of this fantastic doc,just watch the beautiful footages and listen to the great introduction,just one minute and I am sure, you will stay with Marilyn till the end of the documentary.I do enjoy each part of it.thanks for posting.

@SGTG77 ah yes! i think he was very old fashioned and controlling, i think marilyn liked to be looked out for but she was too independant for jim plus she was very young, remember when he told the story about her passing wind!

@pumpkinqueen678 Did you notice some of jims expressions when he was talking about marilyn ín the Marilyn's Man documentary. a little bit nasty at times.

@SGTG77 true i mean i always though jim d was ok but from some stuff ive read (taken with a pinch of salt of course) he was bragging to his friends about there love life yet there wasnt much of one as obviously it was a marriage of convenience and she wanted that divorce and had no intentions of "putting herself through that again" as she put it, people got the wrong image of marilyn she didnt even marry jonny h and she could have.

@pumpkinqueen678 Thanks for watching sarah. How about the bit where Jim Dougherty says he said to marilyn to turn the headlights on on the front of the horse as it was getting dark and he said marilyn was looking for the light switch all the way home. If this was a true story and not just made up by Jim i think marilyn was just messing with his head to show how stupid he was.
