  • @colourfastt THEY ARE MUSLIMS YOU IDIOT! Do you expect them to convert to Christ th next day? Dumb ass!

  • How many Islamic terrorists does one black president have to kill before we admit he's bad-ass?

  • They are making an unskilled wager!! Who is breaking the law now??

  • Way to go Obama ... thanks to you we have another country enacting Sharia law.

  • what a ridiculous strawman from that washington examiner person about the protestors claiming "the banks are stealing houses". Maybe she is referring to people being foreclosed upon without proper documentation or even cause? Her defense which amounts to"no they're not" is doubly rediculous.

  • I don't always agree with John McLaughlin, but I respect his positions because they represent an original perspective. However, John didn't spend enough time researching Occupy Wall Street. The movement only has one demand: A political and economic system that doesn't favor corporations over citizens. People (like Susan Ferrechio) who claim the OWS message is incoherent are being dishonest; the problem is self-evident. Democracy should not serve only those with the largest bank accounts.

  • @2Majesties Perhaps she backs them because they will gain Obama votes with the center-right, which he desperately will need in 2012?

  • @crinoid1919 Obama exists within the system. If you want to go all the way, you'd have to end with Jefferson, Hamilton and Madison who started parties in the US. It's gone to the point where gaining power is more important than its responsible use, so that the parties are willing to do anything to gain more seats even as they only use them to gain more ground. Barack at least uses his. I'd prefer a third party or none at all, but unless OWS proves wildly successful, that doesn't seem likely.

  • @Chiscringle you do realize that Obama's largest campaign donner was Goldman Saches AND he contiunued the bailouts started by bush AND all his economic advisors are either former GS or FED members.... and some us know that Republicans and Democrats are BOTH liars and criminals. Obama is just as corrupt as Bush who was just as corrupt as Clinton, who was just as corrupt as Bush Sr, who was just as corrupt as Reagan, who was ......

  • @SOLE2SOUL Maybe he isn't going to try co-opting. Maybe he'll try to ally in good faith and genuinely work with OWS. Barack would still try to get what he wants out of it, but sitting on his coattails isn't a bad place for a group of people.
