Hey everyone!
Hope everyone is well. Here is a video of my improv performance from the Kitchener Multicultural Festival.
I used Shik Shak Shok by Hassan abou el Seoud. I hadn't danced to it before but I wanted to try something different since all my my past performances have been caribbean belly dance fusion or a drum solo so I decided to use this song that morning. I had a lot of fun dancing to it. The only downside was the stage was really abrasive/rough. It was like dancing on hot gravel lol. Is there a shoe that can be used for belly dance? It's something I should look into I think.

You are a lovely dancer Cassandra. The only thing I noticed is your hands SOMETIMES take attention away from your incredible shimmies. Maybe use them to frame more rather than flipping and wrist circling while shimmying. The effect is worth it! You are a joy to watch.

sooooo... i have seen soo many belly dances.. this has to be the farthest most best ones i have yet seen... is so amazing to watch her... ive seen her video over 50 times now and i soo would love to learn nhow she moves... u keep doing wt ur doing girl.. ur amaazing.. keep the spirit up ... :D
