Episode 1 - 3 = 1 show
Episode 4+ = A completely different show.
Blame... Sunrise, 'twas I think, for sacking Imagawa.

@Hakkun9872 Well so far I am up to the 5th episode and not really. It requires you to have some what of a background knowledge to the Getter machines. That being said its still real easy to get into and any small information you do need to know you can just look up. I recommend it so far its pretty awesome.

Does the OVA cover the parts about the Getter machines and their specific abilities and such?

@Hakkun9872 Well I never watched Pokemon much to remember any specific episodes except for the one where they teamed up with Team Rocket when the ship was sinking or something like that. But if what they did was a story with sound effects and talking like if you were to watch it on tv minus the video than yeah it would be like that. Good thing about this OVA is that you do not need to know much about the radio drama because the story pretty much fleshes it all out for people who did not hear it.

Radio drama? Like in that episode of the original Pokemon series where Ash and friends did a radio show with Team Rocket! Team Socket, lol.:D
Wao, that's epic. And convenient for people who want to watch the OVA in US cause I doubt we'll have a anime in the form of a radio drama.
