@prophecyjoris I don't think this solution suits the agenda of the politicians, but of course we have to take all factors into account. Meanwhile we have to start somewhere and his story really makes a lot of sense.
The new word for 2012: intragrid

@meesterJos , totally agree. but we need to look at all factors instead of declaring one the "truth".
For instance: if it is a solarsystem-wide warming than it won't stop by switching to durable energy (we still need to that anyway to get rid of our oil addiction btw). But a problem then is that global warming will lead to more clouds and less sun. So wind would be better.. We just need to take more factors into account instead of selecting the one that suits a policicians agenda.

everybody should see this

Why is this blocked? Is facebook a part of the conspiracy? ;-)

Awesome. Thanks.
Good talk.
To bad that he alsof forgot to mention that global warming is a solarsystem WIDE phenomenon. Something that we can't prevent, only react to.

@prophecyjoris I am sure Jeremy would aknowledge to that. We as a species are very well able to adapt, and we should. The basic message is that we either evolve or die. I put solar panels on our roof and we grow a part of our food supply, but unless everybody get the oppertunity to do the same, we are in for some trouble in the near future.
