  • @magiciangirl11 cut out the processed flour and sugars. Look into the Paleo Diet and put more emphasis on veggies and no more than 4oz. (25g protein) of leaner meat up to 5x a day.

  • @Watchdogger they give you Morphine in the hospital because the pain is so bad. but they take you off of it

  • he only mentioned 1 thing.... what are the healthy food choices? you cant survive on Ice and juice and water.. I was in Hospital and they had me eat otherwise my electroytes wouldnt inprove also if your backed up that can effect your pancreatitis as well... Im drinking Ensures ( they quell hunger). In hospital ( soups mashed potatoes chopped chicken, chopped fruit NO SALAD)

  • Modzilla - my doctor told me that morphine constricts the bilary tract, making pancreatitis worse.

  • My mom's best friend had pancreatitis for about 15 years due to heavy alcohol use in her past. When she reached her 70s she got really, really skinny and she ate a lot but was thin as a rail before she passed on last year. her four sons just felt so helpless seeing her waste away.

  • i'm on a 10grams of fat diet because i had pancreatitis recently. what do you guys suggest i do?

  • @Truthiness231 I find it almost impossible to stand still during attacks, I am like a dog or animalistic in many ways. I'll kneel, squat, roll onto my back then front, then stand and continue the whole thing over and over!

The gravity thing makes sense I suppose though, Thx.

  • @lobsternoob What I meant by the mg/ml is 1mg of morphine to 1 ml of fluid i.e. 5 ml =5 mg of morphine.

Thanks for the tips guys! Usually I go nil by mouth during attacks like they do in hospital, but just those 3 little different ice cubes will mean my body gets some nutrition!

    Appreciated!

  • @Truthiness231 I've just read your comment and I am amazed that not one medical proffesional has related this to me! Am so desperate I'd eat C4 with a crushed time pencil!

So frozen it is, water, gelatin and Sprite(?), O.k mate, I'll give it a bash!

I'll try my man marbles' herb tea too see if it helps

  • @lobsternoob days*
