@ZULUboi28 I respect muslim people you are good people, when you are not under influence of islamic extremist. As for angel Gabriel, I would pose a question. Very important one: How Mohamed knew the angel came from the lord? What was the sign from the angel to Mohamed to prove he came from GD? we True christians know how to identify an angel of evil (ok not all christians lol)..but do you?
-
@ZULUboi28 I had the time to read the Quran. I didnot remark any teaching from Moses or Jesus. The teachings are in the Bible, not in other book. Jews dont believe in Jesus because they are blind by Gd will according to Romans Chapter 11. We dont believe in Mohamed because all what we needed to know is in the Holy Bible. We christians never expected a new prophet nor a new book.
-
@ZULUboi28 I believe Mohamed existed, there is historical evidence, as there is historical evidencia about Jesus death.even if Quran says otherwise.
-
@lisheva1 Aslo, just like king David and Solomon, Mohamed has been prooven and documented to have existed, so you meant to say that you don't accept Mohamed, not that you "don't believe" in him, that's like me saying that I don't believe in Hitler. I might not agree with him, but can't deny historical evidence that sayd he existed.
-
@lisheva1 Aslo, who are you as a non-Muslim to say what we follow or not? Jesus and Moses are actually quoted most in the Quran and Haddith, as well as many of the other angels and prophets that you know of in Christianity. And if anything, the Jews have the same reason to not "believe" in Jesus as you have for not "believeing in Mohammed".. Just food for thought.
-
@lisheva1 Fair enough, as A Muslim it is my place to respect anybody's belief nomatter what. so I hope the Christianity leads you to a path of understanding. Just accept that we believe in what we believe in as well, weather or not you agree, we believe that the Angel Gabrial appeared to Mohamed too, but more importantly than the "dogma" are the values and traditions of Islam, that teach us how to be humble, hardworking people and always give thankx to God/Allah/Yaweh (whatever you may call Him)

@ZULUboi28 More than praying the way you do, you should put attention if your worship is worth to be heard. Not all prayers are aceptable to Gd.
John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners.
Proverbs 28: 9If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable
Muslims dont follow the law of Moses, nor Jesus teachings. According to the Bible your prayers are detestable. I hope dont take it personal my friend, I am just showing you what Bible says
Peace.

@ZULUboi2 According to biblical teachings, each prophets must come with another 2 witnesses, another 2 prophets. We dont believe in the word of a single prophet.
Mathew 18:16 ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Mohamed didnot come with 2 prophets.
Lord Jesus said clearly: Mathew 11:13 For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John.
again no mention of Mohamed.
I just wanted to show you a few statements, why we dont believe in Mohamed

@lisheva1 Also, out of interest, we pray the way we do to humble ourselves to the lord and symbolise "complete submission" to his Power. But every religion is entitled to thier own method, because all of the Prophets were wise, even Buddha (who predates all Abrahemic faiths even Jews), my point is though, every Muslem that I know accepts that Jesus predates Mohamed (Jew, not Muslim), we just see Mohamed's "good news" as the latest update so to speak. i hope that Explains something for you.
-
@lisheva1 Jesus was a prophet before Mohamed, predating him by 600 or so years. We, in Islam believe that Moses and Jesus were all prophets that spoke the word of God, but Mohamed was the last Prophet, weather or not you choose to accept that is not my problem, I'm just saying that, as far as I know, NO Muslims claim that Jesus was Muslim, but he wasn't christian either, he was Jewish, and people corrupted many of his Holy words unfortunately, which is why he belive that God sent Mohamed.
