I'm less than a minute in...and the previous commenter was /not exaggerating/, this is incredibly faithful to the Metroid style. I'm hearing little references to the hive miniboss from MP1, the MP3 version of Dark Samus's theme, and plenty of that cool "whooooaaaaaa" sound all Metroid boss themes seem to have. For my money, this would have been a more than suitable replacement for the Aurora Unit battle theme in MP3. Well /done/, sir or madam.

Anyways, in general;

#1 I havn't head the original

#2 Metroid is infamous for it's sentries and "Biological Operating eXecutive" or B.O.X. from fusion.

#3 in fusion, "Adam" states a "Rouge AI" was roaming the perimeter and to destroy it if seen.

@Fourforce HECK YES. That sounds like something for a evil machine in any new metroid game, but it fitted MP1 so good I thought I seriously missed a boss!
