Simple fact is that Ian has always exuded spirit, light and music on stage... doesn't matter what you sound like when you have that kind of presence. The only thing that sucks is that he's getting old and can't give quite what he used to... kudos to them for pushing on anyway!

While I don't doub't the quality is bad...it is clearly evident on very many newer versions than the lead singer is clearly having some problems. Ian? Right? Like I said I am glad to hear that they don't "really suck" live...BUT the lead singer sounds like he is reaching for something he obtained about a decade and a half ago.

Huhh all of you naysayers have to realize yhat what sucks is the quality of the videos posted... not one of them is of high quality. If you wnat to judge the cult live based on what you hear on youtube..be my guest. Aside from that, thou the quality is shitty, the energy that comes thru is pretty evident .. the cult is just an amazing band

I never got to see them live,but The Cult is without a doubt wy fav. band.My daughter got me a t-shirt when we lived in California. She passed in an auto accident, Her fav. song was Cio Baby.I wish we could have went to a concert together.Istill crank it up when i listen to the Cult though & always will.
