I've got two problems and i was wondering if you could help me out (im on vista)... when i put the setup.exe in compatibility mode it either when double clicked does nothing or it says it thinks the settings are wrong with 2 options "It is installed correctly" or "install using recommended settings" but both does nothing

I can't seem to install it on Windows 7 64 bit. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've changed to Win95 compatibility mode for the files install.exe and setup.exe in both the install folder and the install95 folder on the mounted CD. Get an error message that the file is not compatible with my Windows version. I can't even chose to install in the program files (x86) folder.

You can also run SETUP.exe with DOSBox, in case compatibility doesn't work.

thanks for the help so far. I have got as far as going to install it. it comes up with a screen that says "setup.exe: do you want to allow this to proceed". after clicking 'allow' the computer pauses for a few seconds then nothing happens. what do i need to do? thanks

I did what you said and changed setup.exe to 95 mode and it doesn't even run that, that was with the allied disc, I tried it with the soviet disc in 95 mode and it kept saying "this is a 95 game and you're running windows 6" please help
